We all know that yoga is good for you in many ways. Yoga is a great way to relieve stress, but it can also help you lose weight, improve your digestion, and even change how your DNA works. Even though you may come to the mat to find your Zen, yoga has even more benefits than we thought.

Yoga can help your sexual life in more than one way; it turns out. And before you worry about having to pose like in the Kama Sutra, it's a lot easier than you might think.

Yoga helps women have better sexual function

The Journal of Sexual Medicine published a study that is often cited. It found that yoga can improve sexual function, especially in women over 45.

The study looked at the effects of 12 weeks of yoga on 40 women. Before and after the yoga sessions, the women answered questions about their sexual health.

After 12 weeks, the women's "desire, arousal, lubrication, orgasm, satisfaction, and pain" improved significantly, as measured by the Female Sexual Function Index.

As many as 75% of the women said that their sex lives got better after yoga training.

As part of the study, all women were taught 22 yoga asanas, or poses, that are thought to strengthen the core abdominal muscles, strengthen the pelvic floor, improve digestion, and make people feel better.

Some of the poses were trikonasana, also called the bhujangasana, triangle pose, and Ardha matsyendra mudra .

Yoga makes men's erections better

Yoga doesn't benefit just women. A study examined how a 12-week yoga program affected men's sexual satisfaction.

At the end of the study period, the standard Male Sexual Quotient showed that the participants' sexual function improved.

Improved desire, interplay pleasure, confidence, performance, erection, synchronization with a partner, ejaculatory control, and climax were all noted by the study's authors.

Also, a comparison trial done by the same group of sexual health expert found that yoga is a good, non-drug alternative to fluoxetine (Prozac) for treating men who ejaculate too early.

It had 15 yoga poses, from simple ones like Kapalbhati, in which you sit with your back straight, your legs crossed, your chest open, your eyes closed, your hands on your knees, and your abdominal muscles tight, to more difficult ones like dhanurasana, or the "bow pose."

You can improve your sex life with yoga poses.

If you want to improve your sexual life, try doing some yoga poses regularly as a Sexual treatment.

Cat Pose (Marjaryasana) and Cow Pose (Bitilasana)

These poses, often done together, help you loosen up your spine and calm down. This makes you feel less stressed overall and gets you in a better mood faster.

  • Start on your hands and knees. Ensure your wrists are under your shoulders and your knees align with your hips. Keep your back straight and your weight evenly distributed across your body.
  • Inhale as you look up and let your stomach curve down toward the floor. As you stretch, lift your eyes, chin, and chest.
  • As you exhale, draw your belly button toward your spine and tuck your chin into your chest. Raise your rounded back to the ceiling.
  • For 1 minute, move slowly between the two.

The Bridge Pose (Setu Bandha Sarvangasana)

This pose makes your pelvic floor stronger. By working out these muscles, you can make sex less painful and even cause the good stuff, well, better.

  • Put your back down.
  • Bend both knees and put your feet hip-width apart, with your knees in line with your ankles.
  • Put your arms flat, your palms facing the floor, and your fingers spread out.
  • Lift your pelvis off the floor and let the rest of your body follow. Don't slouch; keep your head and shoulders down.
  • For 5 seconds, stay in the pose.
  • Release.

Happy Baby (Ananda Balasana)

This pose is often used to relax because it stretches your glutes and lower back. It can also be used as a different kind of missionary position. To try it in bed, start in the missionary position with your partner on top. Then, reach out with both arms and around your partner's midsection with your legs.

  • Put your back down.
  • As you let your breath out, bring your knees up to your stomach.
  • Inhale, reach up to grab the outside of your feet, then spread your knees. You can also help yourself by putting a belt or towel around your foot.
  • To stretch, flex your feet and push your heels up while pulling down with your hands.

Even though some yoga poses can improve your sex life immediately, the most significant change will always be in how much stress you feel. This has many sound effects and lets you relax and enjoy sex, making it even better. You can take supplement for your sexual problems from Sablok Pharmacy.
